Can you imagine life devoid of water and electricity 24 hours a day. I just got my electricity back after some sort of fault and I have to say it was close to being the worst several hours of my life. I felt as if my arms had been chopped off making me impotent. I was unable to connect to the internet, watch box, listen to music, brew a cup of tea, put a hot dog in the oven or put the central heating on. It makes me begin to understand how lucky I am to be a resident in a country that makes these things available to me. I cant imagine what it must be like for folks who dont have luxuries of the West. I believe that they have other things that they can do such as cook on an open fire. I will also add that I would be most overjoyed to be able to do is simply to be able to generate my own electricity and not rely on companies. Unfortunately where I live I dont think this is possible. I have looked into it already.
